Gas prices at Lake of the Ozarks

With all the price hike's and bad news about gas, we can only hope that our lake will continue to provide fun and enjoyment to everyone. We provide this page so that you may find some useful information regarding this subject and that it may help bring more visitors to our
 beautiful Lake Ozark. Please reference this page often as the information changes daily.

REMEMBER, REMEMBER, REMEMBER
  1. A clean hull
  2. Properly tuned engine(s)
  3. Lower your running RPM's (don't hammer down all day long!!)
  4. Correctly pitched / undamaged propeller
  5. Outdrive / Transmission service (keep them "in tune" also)
  6. Steady flow from stopped to "on plane" (just like your car, dont "peel out")
  7. Don't run around with your bimini top up (this is like pulling a parachute)
  8. Have a plan of attack, Don't boat endlessly. Cove out, go to two or three spots, plan your day.
 
****Boaters, keep fuel receipts and take advantage of fuel tax refunds.****
